Travel Times Glenbrook to Sydney CBD??
Does anyone know how long it will take to travel into and outr Sydney by car or motorbike from Glenbrook just on the edge of blue mountains into Sydney CBD in rush hour

Hiya,
It will take a long time is the short answer! Reason being is the M4 motorway - there are sections still not wide enough for traffic, so you go from 4 lanes to 2 lanes etc, merging traffic, and then Parramatta Road (if you take that route).
Glenbrook is beautiful, and a great place to live, but be prepared for 3 hours return travel a day by car. Trains run also, but probably about the same time less you get a mountains train, in which case 50 mins each way I would expect. Prob is they only run in peak hour maybe twice an hour.
