Travel time to work-Cleveland to Fort.Valley
Does anybody travel by train/bus to work, where it takes an hour or longer? I have been offered a great job in the city, but I will have to catch a train from Cleveland Station in Brisbane, to Fortitude Valley which takes about an hour either way. Can anyone give advice on whether it is really worth it, or should I consider taking a less challenging position closer to where I live?

Morning!
I used to commute from the Gold Coast to Fortitude Valley. Took 90 minutes all up.
Cleveland is wayyyyy closer so I'll be surprised if it really does take 60 min.
If you haven't already done so - chck www.qr.com.au (Queensland Rail) for schedules and times.
Accept the job. You won't ind Jack Sh*t in Cleveland.
Trains are reliable, clean, safe and excellent here. You'll find it relaxing and not as great a challenge as you think.

It is about an hour. The train track goes North, then south, then west
If they had laid it in a straight line, it would be about 40 minutes !!
Cleveland area is nice, so I would take the job, and who knows, something more local may crop up later.
What type of work do you do ?
I used to travel 90-120 minutes each way to work, I did that for a few years. It "can" be worth it for the end result.
