Arrow Travel insurance for your outbound trip

I have a couple of places to get medical/travel insurance for the trip out. Ordinary travel insurance is unlikely to cover you since most require you to be UK resident and to be on a round trip.

Brian Naughton at Letton Percival is one: 0151 236 4568

InsureandGo is another on 0870 901 3674

I can't vouch for either of course - and I hope not to be in a position where I CAN!

Hi

Insure & Go don't do 'One Way' travel insurance!

17 days cover for 3 Adults - £85.50 with www.go-walkabout.co.uk

You need to give yourself 10 days in Oz before you can register for Medicare.

Well, that's not what they say! Part of the email I received as a quote is:

>>The following quote will cover you for medical until you arrive in Sydney and will expire 24hrs after you go through Immigration. <<

I agree it is necessary to check carefully that any policy DOES cover you in this unique situation - not because it's very expensive but in case of claim.
