My friend is emigrating in September and flying from Heathrow and hopes to get the full extra luggage allowance. She will be travelling on her own from Manchester. Does anyone know of any transport services which will take the luggage to Heathrow so she doesn't have to struggle on the train? All the companies I have seen on the internet seem to offer excess baggage transport abroad.

LOL If you find any let me know. We're traveling from Liverpool with a baby, all with extra luggage. Not looking forward to trying to drag baby, pram, loads of suitcases & handluggage each down to & across London by train!

Just found this on one of the train company's customer services websites, dont know how good they are as never used them but may be worth a chat with them.

It might be worth getting a price from a local airport transfer firm, to take her directly to the door at Heathrow.
It may not be much more than the combined cost of a train fare and a luggage handling assistant.
