I have read on here about a few guys putting in transers to the australian army but theyre old posts. Can anyone email me with the processes and how u get started. Me and my partner are wishing to do the same but not sure how. however he i sonly on a 2 and half year mark, will we have to wait for 4 years?

Hi, Not sure what information you may already have received but your husband will have to at least be a substantive Sgt or Capt before he is eligible to apply for a lateral transfer. It also depends on current vacancies for his trade. Best bet is to send an enquiry to the lateral transfer desk at the link that GeordieMandy gave you on a different thread.
