Hi there,
I live here in Toowoomba with my Aussie hubby and our beautiful daughter of almost 8 months.
We have been here for approx 3 months and I must admit to struggling to make new friends.
I am looking to make any new friends (not just other Mum's) so if you are local PLEASE get in touch, I think making friends would make the world of difference out here.

I'm sorry i don't live in Toowoomba. I have been in Toowoomba this week as OH has had some training here, i really like it here, you are so lucky to live here, do you like it?
I live on the sunshine coast, but Toowoomba feels more homely somehow, i would like to move this way, you still have the sunshine - do you get the humidity here? The houses are much cheaper, The clothes and shopping is better too, the only thing that is missing is the beach, but i guess you can visit for wknds.
I hope you have some luck finding some pals.

Sorry you've not found anyone yet - I think you posted a few months ago??
Please take this is a joke...one of my client's who lives in Toowoomba was telling me great stories about the Toowoomba Swingers Club today. Sorry, I'm not going to comment further, but seeing your post just made me think!

You should start a conversation with some of the expats you hear!
Can you believe how hard it is to make friends over here?????

Yep, it's not easy. I even joined a local tai chi class to try to get out and meet people - only 2 other people turned up...

I've joined the local running club, a few local websites and still have not met friends!!!! I am shocked at how people do not return your conversations here?
