I'm intrigued as to how this will end. He (the dad) would drive me demented. He just seems to lollop around and do nothing.

Ahhhh I thought they were alright... a bit rotten of Channel 4 to cover that teenage crush though ... we all go though them, but not on TV!

The poor lad - having his teenage angst broadcast like that - never mind, I suppose they have to learn the hard way.
She seemed to want to make a go of it but the Dad - contender for most boring man in the universe or what?!
He just needs to find his 'niche', then they'll settle properly, I think.
Good luck to them anyway.

Seems to me that he had. When his metal working tools turned up, he sprang into action.
The teenage lad blew it though, poor little sod.

I think half the programme was about the love story with the young lad.......good tv viewing I guess ??
But it does highlight what some teenagers are like in this country....computer games and stuff
Hmmmm...wonder what perth is like next week.

I thought I was a nice calm peaceful type of bloke but I feel this almost uncontrollable urge to beat the living crap out of the useless excuse for a whinging pom.
I know the program is designed to make the the families look dysfunctional and they're probably making a good go of it now but didn't ya just want to grab him by the shoulders and tell him to get a grip?
OK shop life isn't for everyone - it certainly isn't for me. But did he have any sort of clue of what he was going out for?
Ah well, it's just telly......
