I plan to propose to my girlfriend over xmas

Any tips/ideas on where to do this- would probably be xmas eve?

I'd have thought one of the spots over looking the City at sunset from Kings Park or on one of the beaches at sunset - take a picnic and some wine and surprise her there.

Nice enough but hardly proposal material, it's like a Weatherspoons!

I would go for a nice meal at Frasers at Kings Park and then walk over to the bit overlooking the City and bobs your uncle. As a woman that is what would appeal to me.

Agree with NB boat is nice for a meal or drinks not proposal material.

There are a couple of places in Perth that serve fantastic food and Kings Park takes a lot of beating, even in Melbourne!
