I will appreciate if anyone can help me find out the followings:
1. How long does it take to get Australian immigration from USA?
2. Is it better to apply through attorney? If yes, contact information for any reliable attorney.

Question 2 : No idea sorry, I live in the UK

Got some info .... is there any place where I can get the full form of all the abbreviations like TRA, PCC and some other abbreviations that I came accross .....
Oct 04 Started gathering info for TRA app
29 Jan 05 Finally got everything together
12 Feb 05 App arrived with TRA
5 May 05 The man from TRA he say YES!
8 Aug 05 App sent to Adelaide for Visa
10 Oct 05 Meds & PCC requested
17 Oct 05 PCC applied for
9 Nov 05 Med done
26 Nov 05 PCCs finally landed on doorstep
26 Nov 05 PCCs posted to Adelaide
8 dec 05 pcc's & meds at dimmia
Fingers and toes crossed..... Please let us in

29 Jan 05 Finally got everything together
12 Feb 05 App arrived with TRA
5 May 05 The man from TRA he say YES!

TRA is Trades Recognition Authority
PCC is Police Clearance Certificate
Have you looked at the Department Of Immigration website that should give you all the answers you need.
