is the time right to buy house?
we are new in sydney and currently, living in a rented accomodation. We intend to buy house in next 6-9 months. but given the continuous negative growth in prices in the current months, do you think it's the right time to buy house or do you think we should wait?

If it's a home, you really want that particular property and you can afford the mortagage then I would say there is no harm in buying since you're talking about your happiness not a money making scheme, but if you're not 100% sure then it probably won't harm waiting since from what I found out speaking to people on our visit is that house prices in Sydney have definitely stabilised and some are dropping so you shouldn't be priced out of the market if you wait.
Our plan when we get there is to rent for at least 6 months and then decide but only commit when we find the house we have to have (not just one that is OK, in the right price, area etc.)
