Can I ask a dumb question about this - is the redback bite dangerous to pets such as dogs ann cats?? Not that I have either at the moment but would like to once settled in Perth.

The first thing i'm packing ......when off to oz is a birthday present from my son.
It's a tennis racket with a difference !
In the handle is a small square battery, and if you touch the string's it'll give you a 7000,volt wake up call.
Anything smaller then a mouse will fry....... medium to rare!!!!
all the best plum family!

I remember those Huntsmen spiders when I visited my sis in Melbourne. At the time, she lived in a house with an open chimney.
Now for the science.
Oz + House + Open Chimney = mucho huntsmen
Still, they are pretty harmless, aren't they? They just look mean.
Never did see a snake, thankfully.
You do kinda get used to the spiders though....kind of.
