Default Thunderstorms in Perth?

Sorry, this is a crap thread, just wondered if Perth have their fair share of Thunderstorms. Here in Wales, we probably get one a yr, I love em, so was hoping you have a few more over there

Cheers Numbers

A fair few. But it's not a tropical climate, so I dare to day nothing as severe as Darwin.

The worst thing about the winter weather is the wind. It can blow up the Swan River and bring some pretty tasty rain.

I remember running along the foreshore one evening in July, and the wind was so strong against me I was hardly moving. Mind you, am getting slower in me old age.

My friend who lives there says when they do have thunder storms, they are normally electric storms with torrential rain

I don't know how often though
