I remember the ice storm well. It really was both beautiful and tragic at the same time, wasn't it? Don't worry. I doubt you'll see anything like that over here.

Ahh snow, wonderful stuff.
My kids miss it so much. Building snowmen and sledging.
Shame the UK doesn't get it as bad as what it did back in the 70 and 80's..
Winters are more miserable now, tiny bit of snow turns to sludge too soon.

I'm sure I'll miss the snow once I'm over there. But I've had enough of it for a while I think. It would be nice to be able to take my two little kids for a walk to the park anytime I want.

I definitely won't miss driving in the snow or shovelling it though!
