Central Heating
Double glazing (to keep out the sound of everthing outside!!)
pubs with beer gardens for the kids
Sainsburys
shops that aren't all the same whichever suburb you go to
Next
Cheap Broadband
Sky tv
Midget Jems
Yellow Dusters (can't seem to find one anywhere, the kind for polishing)

Can help with the yellow dusters - after hunting high and low for them - Bunnings! Come in packs of two and they are a bit smaller and pricier, but not bad quality!

Loopy

(Doesn't mean to say I've used them much though!!)

Ceri,(without backlash and rude remarks from others). What was it that attracted you to the idea of going to Oz.
I am sure there will be a lot of things that I will miss.
We lived in Spain for a while and there were things that frustrated us over there, but my biggest miss was Horlicks at the time, even craved for it. Haven't touched the stuff since we got back.
My biggest will be my eldest daughter and grandchildren.

My nose. among other things .. seriously.
I came here from Asia to Aus. At the time I was thinking of heading back to the UK. A job offer (transfer) came up here in Aus, I wasn't looking to come to Australia.
So I can't really answer you on this one as I didn't seek to come to Australia. Reasons for coming here - a new challenge and the nosiness. It was a case of "why not?'

Cheers
