we''ve got them over on the interesting side Not that I use them, can't stand the places. Got a friend who only uses supermarkets that have starbucks attached (UK) WTF You do your shopping and go home to a decent coffee, why sit in Starbucks

Greek tavernas and bouzouki music (strange I know)
Asda
Ottakars
The real Next plus value alternatives
Adams
A bit more life after dark and more stuff in Joondalup, but deffo not Starbucks... Aussie coffee shops are much better and we could do with less American francises, making everything look the same and paying shite wages.
More curry places
BTW I do love it here though despite the list... plus it's getting better all the time

Talking about Greek food, there was a restaurant in Highgate on Saturday night that seemed really popular, it was heaving with people all night long.
Right opposite the Queens pub. Do you know of it at all?

This is the one:
http://www.warestaurants.net/mykonos.htm

It wasnt the most fantastic looking of places, but they seemed to be turning people away as they were full, so hopefully this was a good sign.

I'd like an equivalent to Tesco Direct. I hate grocery shopping with a passion and was more than happy to pay £3.99 to have someone else trudge round Tescos and lug it all into my house.
Otherwise I'm perfectly happy with Perth

Does this mean that with a fair sized mortgage on an average home in a cheaper suburb, 2 old cars and no boat i should be packing my bags and heading for New Zealand
