things to take
i know this has probably already been covered somewhere,but are washing machines ,tumble dryers dishwashers etc ok to take .i know tv's etc are no good. my friend also tells me that new furniture in nz is very limited in style so should we buy the new stuff we really like here before we go .

I live in Melbourne and i brought over my washing machine, it works fine! it was quite new and i couldnt see the point in selling it and buying new here. The aussie makes here are quite good like fisher/paykel, but if you prefer Euro makes then they are a lot more expensive to buy new!
just make sure when your machine is packed, that it has the drum stabalisers put on.
