Don’t forget toilet rolls – they are about a third more expensive than UK.

Just a few I can think of, I know there are more.
I dont feind salt any different, buy it bulk.
Bread , i pay about 1.50. Ibought Warburtons in UK. and that was expensive
Milk, is expensive compared to UK.
mince beef, i get the extra trim, is a bit more expensive, but you can get cheaper.
I buy home brand baked beans, at first bought the Heinze, but we are happy with home brand 69 cents a tin.
Not much difference really, although hubby sorts that out.

maybe you havent found the right places to buy yet,i had to shop around a bit to find the best and cheapest places, this does take a bit of time i do find i read the junk mail that comes everyday these days instead of throwingit straight into the bin always on the look out for offers,to be honest my shopping bill is around $120 for 3 of us and we eat very weell much better than in the uk,much more fresh foods and healthier to,im spending the same as i did in the uk
