The reason i ask is that I am waiting for a quote from John Masons. My stuff is in storage with them and was originally going to brisbane but now i need it to go sydney so they are requoting and said they had a special rate for brisbane... anyway 3 days in and still waiting for the quote and I really hope there isnt any difference at all as pennies are tight enough as it is.

It may depend on who they use Sydney end. They use Wridgways in Brissie, but they should know all the costs anyway, it's not like they've not taken stuff to Sydney before

You would have thought so moneypen... if they think they have me over a barrel then they can think again. I will pay no more than quoted. esp. as they tried to tell me i only had delivery within 100km of bris when it was actually 200km so there should be no change on the delivery. I wonder who they use for Sydney... I don't like this waiting for a quote though!

That's an interesting point. Many people have been charged for delivery outside a 30km radius. We weren't charged anything for delivery about 150km away.

Hmmm. My original quote was for Noosa so they quoted the 200k distance... now i'm heading nowra way which is just under 200k so on that point there should be no difference - it all depends on their delivery company i suppose but who knows.

They came back asking for £175 more - i am NOT happy. But have told them that I wont be paying any more storage fees from Monday just gone.
