I know it is a late response but I only arrived in this area in mid June. I am now living in Foresters Beach and at the moment at a loose end during the day if you wanted to meet up?
If you are interested let me know where and when.
Regards Kim

Hi Kim, I also dont do much during the day so how about we meet on Friday 7th, at Erina standing just outside the library, next to Fitness First at 1pm?
Does this sound ok, it needs to be at an easy place for me to get to as I do not drive.

It was lovely to meet you Kim. A really good website is Google earth. This offers maps and satellite images for complex or pinpointed regional searches. It is a separete program so you would need to download this program. It can give you the best directions say from your home to Bay village, or wherever you need to go, and it can tell you how long it would take, but it doesnt know about traffic, or lights, or roundabouts that can slow ppl down. Another website is here http://maps.google.com.au/maps?clien...l&hl=en&tab=wl This is a bit simpler. And I am pretty sure that the big big supermarkets like woolworths and coles are often always open until really late on most nights, think they dont close until like 11pm or even 12. Just means that all the other shops are open a lot later on Thursday nights. The central coast gets a lot busier around x mas with school holidays and families visiting ect. So the shops around that time get super packed!!! The house you are renting, does that have air conditioning? Believe me, you will definitely need it or some fans as when it gets hot, you will sweat and wish you were back in the UK!!! Mingara also has poker machines, a bistro, as it's actually a club. Its nice to grab a meal thier sometimes. Where you live, probably another shopping center that is close, is Tuggerah. At Tuggerah you can find the Hogs breath and the Lone star which are both nice places to grab a steak or chicken with salad or veggies. Tuggerah shopping centre also has a cinema, but let me warn you, they don't have a lot of parking which can be a big hassle when you are a bit late or something. Also, a good thing to know is that Tuggerah has a Dr's surgery, it is awfully hard to see any Dr in the central coast as they close their books, and when you really need to see a dr, you cant because they have closed thier books! So its really important to get in to see a dr., especially if you see them on a regular basis. I hope that has helped somewhat and look forward to meeting you again sometime. If you need any more help, just ask me here or whatever.
