Default temperature difference - gold coast/sunshine

Hi,
We were wondering what the difference in temperature is as there's quite a distance between the gold and sunshine coast... and the Sunshine coast being nearer the tropic of capricorn?
...or is there that little difference it's not worth considering?

Thanks in advance

I would think it's barely worth a mention. You're only talking about 200km so it's not that far really.

the distances are not far enough to make much of a difference. If you went to say Bundaberg or Rockhampton you would be a few degrees warmer.

Southern end of the GC can be very wet as the Murwilliumbah area of NSW has the higest rainfall in the state.

well, this was my thinking...as the gold coast borders new south wales and sunshine being nearer the tropic! But no worries i don't think i'll put it into any more consideration!

Thanks for reply

Yes the differences between the two would barely be discernable - what is more likely to make a difference is how far you are from the coast itself. I know just a few k's inland on the Sunshine Coast in places like Buderim and Forest Glen the nights can be darn chilly in Winter!

http://www.bom.gov.au has the average temps for all over QLD.

But will be hotter then littleover, although you will never find a curry as good as Jar Jar Jees

Aagree distance wont make enough difference to temps.
Re: wet - I've just moved from nthn NSW, may have highest rainfall in the state but its very welcome , normally rains overnight if its going to which isnt often or over a few days of tropical style rain

Ha ha - yeah hopefully will be a touch warmer than here - anyway i think you're getting out of touch it's jee-ja-jees...tut tut, and there was me thinking you knew your curries eh??

BTW it's gone a bit down the pan from there recently so we've been learning to cook our own in anticipation of the lack of a decent curry anywhere in Brisbane...

Bayside - somewhere between Manly and Cleveland. We used to be in Wynnum before our stint up here.

Well it's been a long time since I have had a meal there.

I was in Derby 2 years ago but couldn't get in as it was booked up, I was gutted .

There is a good curry place in Berkdale but it's a bit of a trek from the Northside.
