Telephone interview with DIMIA

Telephone interview with DIMIA
My friend today had a call from the Australian High Commission in London. They said that DIMIA has asked them to conduct a telephone interview with her. I have never heard of this before, has anyone else experienced this?

I had a brief interview with my case officer over the phone. I was applying for a defacto spouse visa.

Their just a normal general skilled migration, two adults two kid, all the right paperwork and 125 points. Has anybody else had this?
