Eldest went back well over a year ago, no intention of moving back to OZ.

Not quite a teenager and grew up here but my son went back on a "gap year" after uni nearly 10 years ago and has no intention of living here permanently again.

Maybe we could leave ours here. After 2 middle of the night phone calls to say he had forgotton his keys. We left the front door open. Then a fox in back garden set dog off barking. Then a text at 4.50 am to say he was now staying at a friends!
Meanwhile house sale not completed and hubby losing his job end of month. I now have deleloped a stress rash and migraines. He slept though everything and I just decided I may as well get up. So on top of it all I now have insomina. Now 5.30am. If he says one more time stop stressing 'she'l be right' I may kill him.

my son was 12 when we landed. took him a year and a change of school before he settled.
Now he has a good group of mates and is playing in the local under 16 soccer team div 1.

occasionally he says he wants to go back, but I think he'll change his mind when he actually goes back for a visit and sees everything has moved on.
