Default TAX on the SUB 309

HI ALL,

just got an email to say i have got my visa

could someone let me know what the TAX would be on this ? when getting a job ?
would it be the same as everyone else or would i be paying more tax ?

i.e if i got a job paying $95,000 how much would go into tax.

cheers

Your tax will be the same as any other Australian resident. You pay no more or less direct tax regardless of your visa type generally.

A tax calculator is available from the ATO http://calculators.ato.gov.au/script...xcalc/main.asp
