Question Tax Question , sort of !

I have a few houses/units and like to do my own tax , however I would like to take a basic introduction to taxation course to give me a better understanding of tax. Would this be tax deductable under managing tax affairs ?

Thanks Martin

Will depend on the course. If you do the basic 16-week course with H&R Block, the fee is tax deductible under tax preparation (D9 on the tax return). Once you've successfully enrolled on that course, H&R Block send you a letter confirming the tax deductibility.

But not all courses will be tax deductible. Suggest you check with the course provider before you pay.

So let me guess this right. You are wanting to find out if the tax deduction course is tax deductable?

No I am wanting to find out if a introdution to taxation is deductable, as it will cover more than just deductions.
