Re: Tasmania (continued!)
hey all...
Bit old news but thanks to Gary, Vikki and Hollie for coming to DD's party... DD had a ball, she was in bed before 6 and slept till after 9 the next morning. Little minx has figured out how to get out of her cot, sleeping bags and pjs since she turned 2! The bed is on order! I'm loving the huge increase in language that she has too, so nice to almost be having 'conversations' with her. We met a friend from WA (an expat by coincidence!) to go to the fireworks at the show - DD loved them and the rides she went on. We are off to the Longford show this weekend and then Hobart on the 24th after the baby & kids market to meet a friend for dinner at Hogs Breath. We'll be going to Deloraine too so will keep an eye out for what the rest of you are up to for that. Gary - did you get the chickens? What date is the teddy bears picnic? We just bought a different motorbike too and the first weekend in Nov we are hoping to go see Jimmy Barnes at Aurora as part of the Harley rally. Then I guess it will be getting close to Christmas - although I have to admit that as years go I will be glad when this one is over. Cath - I've come to the conclusion that the only way not to have family issues is to be an only child and the more siblings you have the more conflict there can be. The distance is helping me to focus on what I do have rather than what I am missing out on. |

Blimey, I'd better keep that quiet from OH as he would definitely think it was the right time to go back to the UK, and at those rates we could get some back some of the money we've spent getting here in the first place!!
How are you both, still busy with the music. I need some new glasses so might see you soon! Sam |

Tas is definitely the place to come if you hate the flies/sandflies/mozzies that are heavy duty in some parts of Oz, just don't expect the same weather as Perth!! |

Gary mm have to disagree re the flies where we are they were really pretty bad last summer, dont know if its cos we are next to the sea/river? I bought one of those sprays that activates itself every few mins seemed to make a difference. Off to Hollywood tomorrow  |
