Re: Tasmania??
Cherry My Electricity is actually cheaper here in Tas - I paid $650 for 62 days back in Perth! We were running a pool and an airconditioner!!!
Rego is slightly dearer about $100 p.a. and you only need the roadworthy once to register it, then you can run it into the ground and run a bomb around like the rest of 'em do :) |

Congratulations Zoe, I have boys and a girl, and i love them all the same, but it is so nice being able to buy girly things, and she is going to be so lucky when she is older with her brothers.

Re: Tasmania??
We have a pay as you go type thingy for electric. Our house is a 3 bed with an airconditioner and electric cooker, only 2 adults and 1 ankle biter, but I like to take long piping hot showers:o. I put $100 on it when we first moved in and that lasted about 2 months.

Re: Tasmania??
Thanks for the replies about the cost of living. Beginning to worry if we can afford to live in Tas now on one wage :(
So basically if we are living in a rented house we don't have to pay the rates on top as they are included in the rent? That's a big help, for now anyway. How much is a 2nd hand 7 seater car over there? Nothing fancy, just need the seats for the kids!!!! Beth x x  |
