Re: Tasmania??
Blimey, we haven't even got the house on the market yet and I'm moaning and there's you with your house for sale since April. Feel free to give me a slap;)
We had a car boot sale earlier in the year and are gathering lots more stuff for another one in the Spring, we moved house twice 2 years ago so manged to have a massive clearout then so its just amazing where all this stuff has now accumulated from, it must breed in the garage, I reckon. Thats where most of the junk is, as hubby is a great hoarder and does not want to get rid of anything ever! Sam |

Sam Just let him buy a brand new tool box from Halfords, reduced to £99.99, but he isn't allowed to use it before we go....LOL.....he can use the old tools!!! One shipper told us not to take our washing machine, tumble drier, chest freezer and fridge...............whilst the other shipper said def take them!!!! So have to decide whether to take them or not  Too cold for me to do a car boot sale now........will have to wait til the weather warms up a bit.........was -1C this morning!!!!! Thinking about taking a fibre optic xmas tree in our container......hoping that would be ok as no pine cones on it. I'm sooooooooo excited about coming to Tas..........it's just the not knowing when we're going is the hard part now :( Beth x x  |

bring everything.
Your freezer can be used as a second one in the garage, everyone does it here. If your washing machine isn't too old and knackered then bring it, that is unless its a hotpoint, they don't have hotpoint out here so won't get spares. You will only have to pay out for another one when you get here. If your paying for a container, then you may aswell fill it up mate. We did a shared container and really wished we did a whole one and brought everthing. Yep its scarey all right, but loads have done it all ready! You can do it too!! |

I agree, Duncan brought out all his tools and tool boxes. We had to give them all a good scrub and they were inspected by aquis. Our deco's got inspected too and my hoover. Some of our boys toys were inspected too, things like RC cars etc. But all passed ok, everthing was scrubbed. I even put labels on everything that was scrubbed to say it had been disinfected, I think that may have helped.

Re: Tasmania??
:( Just had a phonecall off 'Anglo Pacific' shippers........they don't come as far as South Wales as it's not cost effective
Don't think they want my money  So far we've had quotes off 'PSS' and 'Pickfords'.......and 'Pickfords' are better price wise so far in my opinion. Will get 'Crown' in the New Year (if they come to South Wales ) and maybe another company. Beth x x  |
