No at the moment,I'm a transport manager for Royal Mail, So maybe a transport manager. But if can't find work doing that might look at getting a job in a travel agents would enjoy doing that as sort a lot of trips away for people at work. And have travelled a bit so have some knowledge.
But if I can't find a job I want to bring money in I wll get my RSA and work in a bar or club. The Aussie's do it over here so maybe the poms can take over working in the bars in Australia!!!!!!:rofl:

Hi All,
I'm very lucky as I married a lovely Australian Lady, We are going to move in with my wifes mum and her partner. They have a lovely place with lots of rooms and a fair bit of land!!! Will help us get sorted until we decide what to do as in house wise. Hoping to meet lots of you over there!!!!

Hi Teabag,
We will be living in the North East at a little village called Karoola!!!!
Its not a very big place but very nice and close to Launceston. Lots of lovely drivers around the area. Very nice place to live, Will need to invest in a push bike to get myself to the local pub!!!!
We are looking at growing lots of fruit and veg. And just trying to have a healthy life.
Really looking forward to getting over, Only 4 weeks and 1 day till we depart!!!!!!

Hi Gary, hope all goes well, hopefully you wont have a problem getting a job when you arrive in Tassie. We are leaving the UK for Tas in 11 days time and cant wait !!! Hubbie is an IT Project Manager and is hoping it wont be too hard for him to get work!! the good thing is though he is open to different jobs at the mo as he quite fancies a career change it IT is not an option. We are landing in Tas on Mon 19 Nov after a little "hol" on the way via Singapore and Melbourne!! we are planning to tour around the island for a few days before settling in our holiday rental until 5 Jan. Hopefully you will make the Dec meet up that some of the people on BE are planning before xmas. Again good luck with everything and look forward to meeting you at the meet up hopefully, (OH is also looking forward to the beer festival!!)

We have just put an offer on a house in the Huon Valley, just have to sell our Hobart house first

Ooh beautiful :) Have to say, though I love the whole of Tassie, I'll always be a southerner. Beautiful restaurant at Huonville if you ever get the chance - alongside the river, Huon Manor its called.

its warmer up north, houses are cheaper, people are friendlier, the beaches and scenery are stunning the question is why would anyone go south? ;)

hello all, we are arriving in launceston tas in mid january, we are going in on a 3 year student visa and i'm doing a degree in nursing at the uni, we have 4 little people in tow, its so good to see that tas is so popular, people normally give a surprised reaction when they ask where in oz we're going! Have to go into rented hope we can find something nice, julie :D

ah well at this rate the North will get really busy and the south will be the nice quiet peaceful place to be :thumbsup:

We are here for my Hubby's work, so no choice really. But the colder the better as far as I am concerned.:wub:
