Default Tamborine Mountain Overnight Stays

Hi All! The sun is back in Queensland!
My dad and step-mom are heading down to see us at the weekend on their grey nomad, retiring early world tour thing, and we're thinking of booking a night for us all somewhere on Tamborine as a birthday pressie to him. A lot of places only doing 2 night stays or are booked, and I was wondering if there are any pearls of wisdom floating around out there? We like North Tamborine as a base but as its all so close we are happy to hear all ideas!
Oh, and I'm gonna drag them both along to the Broadbeach meet, so be sure to put your drinking hats on.....

Thanks,
Sam

Always liked the look of these guys, one day we'll get a weekend up there:

We live pretty close but if it's a stinking hot day at low-level then it's another world up there. The Botanic Gardens are also worth a look.

Cheers,
Matt

(edit) Also, a must visit is Tamborine Distillery ... the couple that run it are a hoot ... top knock-yer-head-off liquor too ...

Why not try the Bearded Dragon which is in Tambourine itself (just before you go up the mountain). They do excellent deals and usuall the entertainment at the weekend is great. Try the spa package if you want to pamper yourself

Good luck with your search.

And bring warm clothes - it's pretty chilly up here at the moment.

Try Maz's on the Mountain. Can't remember the website but search for "Maz's retreat"
Cheap and lovely with some great themed rooms.
