TAKING LCD TV's TO AUSTRALIA?

TAKING LCD TV's TO AUSTRALIA?
Have just been naughty and bought a new LCD TV in the sales
I am aware that some TV's don't work in Oz due to the frequency they use, and I am hoping this is only the case in older TV's.
Has anyone taken an LCD TV over to Oz, and had any problems with them not being compatible?
The model we got was LG RZ-37LZ55. (in case anyone has taken the same model over)
I would really appreciate any reassurance,
Thanks

I would be interested to find out the answer to this one, as we have seen one in the sales too.

P.S Why don't you get your own username 'G'? Would be much easier to tell the diff between you and 'A'

Just buy a Digital set top box and you should be fine. There only $100 or so.

I'm sure someone must know if they work or not, there shouldn't be any need for a digibox surely?

Isn't it the sound that's the issue? I think, from doing a bit of research and it also mentions it on the link above, that if you have PAL B/G you're going to be ok with regards to the sound. Any other thoughts anyone?

Have a look at http://www.videouniversity.com/standard.htm
Country
Australia System B : Color = PAL : Stereo = Zweiton B/G
United Kingdom System I : Color = PAL : Stereo = Nicam I
System B
625 Lines
7MHz Channel
5MHz Vision
+5.5MHz Sound
-VE Vision
FM Sound
+5.742MHZ Zweiton
+5.85MHZ Nicam
System I
625 Lines
8MHz Channel
5.5MHz Vision
+6.0MHz Sound
-VE Vision
FM Sound
- Zweiton
+6.552MHz Nicam
My Older UK TV needed converting, but my new Australian TV appears to have options to alter the above settings. I assume newer UK TV's will have these options aswell. (But it may vary between different manufacturers).
This could be a very "MODEL SPECIFIC" question.
