Is it poss! to say open an online OZ account say now and take advantage of the good exchange rate?
For those of you, that have transferred funds, who did you go with to get the best deals, ie minimal commission.

but, bear in mind that the forex rate moves so much that it is unlikely to remain where it is for long. still a good idea to get an account though.
what you could do in the meantime is speak to halewood (hifx.co.uk) and agree a forward contract for when you need the money (locking you into the rate) and then take your time to open an account!
search for halewood (hifx) and hsbc on here and you'll get more info.
