Our pets are now well on their way to Sydney Quarantine centre and we need to sort out how to get them from Sydney to the Gold Coast.

We have been given a list by our pet shippers and just wondered if anybody had used any of them and if they were any good, this is the list.....

Used dogtainers myself for the Sydney to Brisbane run for our dog.

Were frankly brilliant and sorted everything and coped well when his flight was cancelled without any bother he was on the next flight and they took him for a walk whilst he waited

We are planning to use dogtainers from sydney to GC.
They quoted us $420 for 1 dog (GSD) and 2 cats.

I think we used Jet Pets, Claire. All done with ease and not too expensive - we had great excitement picking her up from Coolangatta. We did it the same as you - had about 3 weeks without her this end while we stayed with my brother, sort out a rental, etc. By the time we picked Deefor up, we were fairly sorted and it was great for the kids to see her again.

I think you will find airlines only allow pets from one family on any one flight. They could get very aggressive if there was another dog they took a dislike too. They would also get very stressed. This is certainly the case with international flights.

No - we think it will upset them (and me!) if we visited, we will wait until they are flown back up to brisbane and bought 'home'!!!

Say hello to them for me when you visit, the black thing making all the noise will be one of ours!
