Default Sydney Meet Up. Yeah or Nay

Hey,

Anyone know how to do those pollster things? I am happy to to-ordinate a meet now that our dear Soapy has deserted us in Sydney but I am going to need some help with getting a poll to see who wants a meet in the next month or so or not.

Hi. I don't know much about polls but I think you just start a new thread and at the bottom of the page you get the option to make it a poll and decide how many options you want. I'm presuming that you then get the choice to name your options. Perhaps someone else can confirm?

My husband, baby daughter (14 months) and I have just arrived in Sydney 3 days ago so would be keen to meet up with any other Sydney BE-ers. Having a marvellous time but it would be good to meet up. Count us in if it goes ahead. Thanks.

If you look at your post, on the top of it there is a "thread tools" option, polls are on there

Hi there we've been here about three weeks and would love a meet up, having bad and good days at the moment and would love a chat about how everyone else is getting on.
It would be great also if there's any familys with young kids for my son to socialise with he's 13 months and getting bored with the pair of us.
Thanks all Janine

Hi.

Been back in Sydney after 7 years away and really starting anew.......but would be pleased to meet up with new people. We are in our 50's (but young at heart) so if there is a get together can we be included?

Chris.

There are always kids - we have two at 8 and 9 so they would have friends to play with. We usually meet up either in Balmoral or Centenary Park. Watch this space. If you can (private) email me your email address I will ensure you go on the list when we fix the date.

Hope to see you soon. Ian

If you send me your email under private cover I will put you down on the list.
I was up and own like a roller coaster for the first six months so give yourself time. For some of us it's a big move. At the last meet there were a couple of families that had very young children.

Good luck

I'd be up for a meet, but they are usually on a Saturday and the kids have regular activities every week......any chance of a Sunday meet?

There have been Sunday meets in the past but for whatever reason people seem to turn up in bigger numbers when they are on Saturdays. Our kids do soccer on Saturdays so I know what you mean. Anyway, (private) email me your email address and i will add you to the list and notify you once we have a date.
