This week it's the brithday of the Big Man, and he has suggested that we head to the Bavarian Beer Cafe, at 24, York Street, in the CBD:

These are great venues, serving lovely European beers in large glasses. What more could we want?

I have tried to make a booking for a table, but they want to know exact numbers, and also want a deposit, which doesn't really fit our style, so let's play it by ear and see how we go there should be a bar area that we can occupy.

So who's in to wish many happy returns to the Big Man?
