Sydney CBD Thursday Evening Drinks 17/04/08
Well, thanks to everyone who came to last weeks bowling trip - it was good to see some new faces - Kitt (who sadly wasn't a black car with a swishing red light) Jo and Andy. We had a good night out with laughs aplenty.
But now on to this week: It's Vix 1st anniversary of arriving in Sydney this week, so what better way to celebrate than to head out for an evening of drinking, darts, pool and pies. So to fulfil this requirement, the venue has been preselected:
Paddy Maguires Pub
Star City
Ultimo

What? A pub in a casino? No! I hear you cry! But yes, it's true, they have pool, darts and a selection of pies for our consumption. And to cap it all off, Thursday night is Thirsty Thursday, where between 7 and 9, Pints are at Schooner prices and Schooners at Half Pint Prices.
Pints. Remember them?

And if we enjoy ourselves so much we can go back on saturday night to see the band 'party central' they sound like a hoot!

Hey, they have two dartboards, which is two more than most other pubs in this town! I say we cut them a bit of slack...

Two dart boards, how greedy? While at the same time with the inclusion of pints possibly the best pub suggested so far!
And With it being a drunken step from a casino how can you not end up potless by the end of the night?

Bored - how could such a thing happen on an expats night out? I will be there unless work dictates otherwise (again!) so far, it's looking okay but there again, I thought I was only going to be on the phone for 20 mins last week - then armageddon occured
