Can anyone recommend any car hire companies in Sydney? We fly in on the 9th April and will be needing one pretty soon after that. Ideally we need an MPV that will seat 2 adults and 3 children (including car seats).
Thanks,
Sam.
Thanks,
Sam.

If you want to rent from the airport then I found budget were usually the cheapest, you can book online, look for their main .com site, not .uk as they book in US dollars and with exchange rate saved a few quid. www.budget.com Always seem to have found Hertz and Avis were most expensive and Budget and Alamo cheapest, never usually that much in it.
Also if you have a frequent flyer card check and see which one you are affiliated to always worth seeing if they will give you a deal for that.

Here's a good one for you, just had a play around on the Budget site, they have changed now and show prices in local currency (ie A$).
Tried 14 days for an MPV and one thing the site asks you for is Country of Residence....
Put in UK A$1400, put in US A$1200, put in AUS A$1100!!! Not that we get ripped off in the UK or anything!
If you're arriving to take up residence I'd suggest putting yourself down as country of residence Australia, after all it's true and will save you £100.
