Was looking at taking the family (2 x adults, 2 x children) down to Sydney for a long weekend at the end of the month... was wondering if anyone could recommend some decent, clean (not overly expensive accommodation) preferably around inner city area..?

Friends of mine stayed at both Metro Hotel near Central and Oaks Apartments near Ultimo. Both good, they felt the apartments were better value as they were two floor 2 bedroom 2 bathroom almost Unit like rooms and had the added bonus of kitchen and living room areas.
