I know there are a lot of different types etc so was after examples.

Thanks

We are currently having a pool built - costs $20500 for pool, $1500 for drains to be moved (did not expect that council plans were wrong), $1500 for fencing and we are doing the landscaping so add another couple of grand on that etc etc plus extra for making all areas pool safe, if the fpool fence does not go all the way around the pool. Be worth if though when the summer comes.

Blimey, your fencing's cheap! Where have you got it from?

Remember Pen that people in suburban backyards often already have 3 of the 4 sides of the fence & there fencing ends up alot cheaper ;) . Also you can get the panels & install it yourself. Our friends John & Ev (you would have met them at the party, they were the bread butterers!) did that & saved a hell of alot of money.

For the OP, our 12 x 4.2m pool cost $32K with solar heating. Then add the fence + the landscaping & paving.

As for the $15K pools, my comment is Caveat Emptor - you get what you pay for. And Im guessing that at that price you would be buying a whole heap of trouble!
