Sweetening the pill
I have read of intending migrants placating parents etc when telling them of the big move by inviting them to come out for an extended holiday.
I, myself, would want our parents to come out for a decent period of time, maybe a couple of months so they could really see the place.
But how have others got on with this if you've both been working full-time?
