I travel a lot and always swear by Samsonite hard shell suitcases. But....... when we emigrated to Oz I reviewed the airline baggage policy and discovered that each passenger was allowed a 35KG sports allowance above and beyond their standard allowance. So with some very cheap soft-sided suitcases from Matalan to supplement our meagre baggage collection we eventually arrived in Sydney with 15 suitcases between 4 of us......... plus the biggest hand baggage we could get away with and a couple of bags of sports equipment padded out with bedding!!

It got us through the first couple of months. Container arrives next week.
