I'm glad I stayed in last night... 
Bout prompts fights across country
...Fuelled by alcohol, and possibly Mundine's win, pub patrons in Perth and Adelaide were involved in a series of fights in pubs and hotel car parks, police said....

Dont know about sports fans, Some of the best punch ups are on this forum.
