Best described as a very mixed bag.

My cousin and his family have just moved from Loganholme to Beenleigh which is only a few minutes down the road.
If you give me a couple of days I'll contact them and find out what it was like. We went to their house but didn't really see much of the area itself. We did go to the local shopping mall which is called the Hyperdome. It's huge! Tons of shops and a cinema too.
BTW, the only reason they moved is because they were renting and the owner decided to sell the house.

Will be back soon with more info.

try doing a search, both on Logan and Loganholme - suburbs of Brisbane come up so often that there should be loads of info

Hi,

WE visited back in March as we are just waiting for our visa, medicals and police have been sent off. We spent a lot of time looking at areas and visiting estate agents, and Loganholme seems a nice area. I found most of the agents were honest about areas where not to live and where was a nice area. They told us to stay away from marsden Crestmead and woodridge, but all said that Loganholme was a good place to live.Logandale is nearby and is a gated community with river golf course etc. and supposed to be very good for family's. Also Tanah Merah is close by to Loganholme and is also very nice. Hope this helps.

steveo,
nice to hear from you - yep got the licence in hand but not in hand if you know what i mean!! i am sending the info of tomorrow, my employer has let me use there time in sorting it out at work and there has already been another welsh guy there that has done it. make sure you have copies of all the original TRA stuff or as much as you can - coz you got to submit it all again - shits!!

to all - thanks for the replies and the info given was good. after another reckie and a chat with one of the locals it does seem a possible area we would live and its only 6 minutes to the hyperdome as well, 2 minutes to the pacific highway to Bris or GC so its ideal for travel.

cheers.
