I can't believe they're still making the stuff - I was trying to avoid it in pubs 15 years ago. Would have thought it would have been banned due to serious stomach poisoning by now. :scared: |
Re: Strongbow Cider
I had a pint of Bulmers last night at a pub in the CBD
my other half calls cider 'tramp juice' so I try to order it when he's not around :o |

Re: Strongbow Cider
Actually I cant drink cider.
When I was 13 my family moved to Somerset and bought some cider from "Sheppey's farm shop". They gave me some to try at Sunday lunch. After I had seroptitiously "tried" 3 glasses I threw up and went to sleep for the whole of the rest of Sunday. Haven't been able to touch it since! Cheers Buzzy |

Half a glass was all it took for me to decide that the rest was going out the window - literally. Poured from 3 stories up, it made a nice splashing noise when it hit the ground. :D Might buy it as an antifreeze replacement next winter, though. Please do not put that dreaded cider anywhere near your car. It will kill it off. I'm glad there were no people under the window when you poured the cider out, they may have thought it was acid rain. Dry Blackthorn cider was sent by an evil person to destroy the human race, (well those that drink cider). Do not touch it, Do not go near it. You will only encourage more to be produced. This is your final warning !!!!!! |
