Strongbow Cider

Hi
Can anybody tell me if they sell strongbow cider in Australia, or any other cider. I'm not saying the move could depend on this :D but it will make me a lot happier.
Cheers

It's available all over the nation, and comes in a wide variety of flavours.

From memory:
  • Sweet

  • Dry

  • Draught

  • Lemon

  • White

There may be one or two others I've missed.

When travelling down the East coast last year, we had no problems picking it up from the drive in bottle shops. After a hard days drive with a 3 year old............................................... ...........   What more could we say.
Hubby now converted too! :)

Don't get too excited - its tastes OK, but its not the English Strongbow, its a different brand.

The good news is that not only can you get Strongbow here easily, but there are several really good Australian-brewed ciders (in Sydney at any rate).

You can try out most of these at the many Food & Wine fairs that Sydney has throughout the year!

Thanks everyone. It's great to know I can drink cider in my new homeland. Not too bothered in the difference in taste as long as it doesn't taste like Dry Blackthorn eeeeaaaaggguuuhhh. It tastes like sweaty socks. DON'T ASK.

Arggh, tried Blackthorn once and NEVER AGAIN, I SWEAR!!!!!!

Half a glass was all it took for me to decide that the rest was going out the window - literally. Poured from 3 stories up, it made a nice splashing noise when it hit the ground. :D

Might buy it as an antifreeze replacement next winter, though.
