Hello again,
Another question if anyone can help... How long before we'll know the outcome of the STNI scheme? All info as now been received and we have had acknowledgement back for it all.
I have sent an email to the lady in charge, and have asked how long does she think before we'll get an answer from them.

As you maybe aware it can take a week or more for them to contact you, and just wondered if anyone out there as had a thumbs up from them?

As always any advise is welcomed,

Julie have they told you that you have been accepted by SA and the OZ gov yet.

No and no, when we received the email it just said that they had received all our information and would contact us if they needed further info.
Last night I emailed them again to ask how long before they would make the decision.

Ps how's your's coming along ? have you heard from them yet?

Julie the next step should be the acceptance both at the same time, this happened to ourselves on 31 may.
They don't seem to return many e-mails.
We have now done the police and medical stuff sent back today by agent via Fed ex SA wanted it all back by 29 Aug so they will get it a bit early.
They told us that it usually takes 3 months from acceptance to issue of visa.

Julie they contacted us 17/04/02 for info and by 31/05/02 we were accepted.

Hope that makes it a bit clearer
