Has anyone had to get a statutory declaration signed by an ex husband or wife to take their child to Oz.
If so , where did you get it from?
I can't find any info on any site.
Please help!!!

Hiya Dave,
Basically you want it to have the childs full name and date of birth along with the mother and fathers details (full name and DOB) and for it to say that he gives permission for that child to be permanently removed from the country.
When I attended court to get such an order, the father of my son had sent in a letter stating the above and it was accepted by AHC (although the judge also granted me an order to say that I was allowed to take the child out of the UK permanently)
Good luck
Yvonne

Sent a letter with application (from my ex hubby) stating his consent to his children migrating.
AHC phoned today.
They are happy with his letter but need a form signed by him infront of a solicitor.
If my ex's letter had been witnessed and certified by a solicitor, I'm sure they would have accepted this.
Hope this is of some help.
Cheers,
Shona

Hi
I have a friend who just took the letter to her Solicitor and then the ex came in and signed it.
