Step Child - will there be problems. Help!!
Hi
Wonder if anyone out there, with all your experience maybe able to help.
As a family, wife, husband and two girls hope to move to Oz. Brother and sister in-law already in Brisbane and grandparents hoping to retire there.
My eldest daughter is my husbands step daughter (no relationship with maternal father at all) but he has given full consent to allow us to emigrate. We are in the UK and he is Austrian so its not as if he's actually around.
Our agent apart from advising that we must have written consent from the father in a certain format which is all getting taken care of. Has not mentioned any other possible problems. BUT, has anyone else had any problems from the immigration departments them selves.
If any one can point out any possible danger areas we might face it may help!
Many thanks
Michelle
