God what an awful position to be in. Have you got a VERY trusted family member/friend and if so, is it possible to seek legal advice and sign power of attorney over to them and work things out with them from over here. A huge leap of faith, but with the current housing market you may be stuck here for a very, very long time. The estate agent will sort the viewings and the rest can be done on the internet these days so there's almost no need to be here. Just a thought and good luck for the future.
I did this when we were in NZ, never again would i do this. The estate agents we used did nothing at all. We had an empty house with no chain to hold things up. This was in 2004 with no credit crunch. IMHO it's best to oversee it yourself. But it's a personal decision. |

Yep think Im gonna have to stay till its sorted but rental is an option and houses are renting out quite quickly.
But as soon as made the decision to rent it out had 2 people wanting to look at it to buy prior to that not one sniff, Hoping son will settle a little in the next week and am franticaly trying to sort out work/study/apprenticeship as he is level one bricklaying apprentice. Fingers crossed xx |
