Statutory declaration
I need to get my wifes ex partner to sign a statuary declaration to allow us to emigrate to oz. I have been told as he has parental responsibility that this has to be done.
Does anyone know how this should be worded, I have the form I want to make sure that it is worded properly, has anyone already done one of these, if so any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks for any help in advance

several here have done this already or need to do this...
can't actually remember any names to be sure and i don't want to offend anyone.
easiest way is to use the search function here and on the imigration section .
put in different key words which you feel are relevent and you'll get the answer you want
cheers

Re: Statutory declaration
Hi, we did a stat dec for part of the t.r.a, we went to a local solicitor and they worded it for us, it has to have specific 'law' text for it to be legal, although we typed it up ourselves and took it back complete, the solicitor checked and signed it, easy as that! it cost about £10. hope this helps!
