Default Stamp Duty on vacant land in VIC-help!?!

Hi

Hoping someone can help! We're about to buy some vacant land in Victoria and I cannot work out the stamp duty amount that is payable!

I've looked at the calculators at the various banks and realestate.com.au but there seems to be a difference of about $2000 between them! As a general rule these are also just for 'property' and don't differentiate between vacant land and homes which I understand have different thresholds?

Any thoughts greatly appreciated!!

Many thanks

Sarah

Will work out the stamp duty for you, just need the date of the contract and the amount.

On two hundred thousand its $6,370.00 approx.

6% work on
